Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026 · Medulla is operated by SHOBHA SHARMA, an individual based in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. Medulla is a brand name, not a registered company.

These terms are the agreement between you and SHOBHA SHARMA ("we", "us") for the use of Medulla. Please read them before you subscribe. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

Important — what Medulla is, and what it isn't. Medulla is an exam-preparation tool. It is not medical advice and must not be used for clinical decision-making or patient care. Explanations are AI-generated and may contain errors — always verify against a standard textbook before you rely on anything you read here.

We do not promise an exam result. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that you will pass, achieve any score, or obtain any rank. Your result depends on your own preparation and many factors outside our control.

You must be 18 or over to use Medulla. This service is built for medical graduates and students preparing for postgraduate entrance exams, and it is for adults only. By using Medulla you confirm you are at least 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the data. If you believe a child has given us their data, tell us at support@medullaqbank.com and we'll remove it.

1. Your account

2. What you may and may not do

You may use Medulla to study — read questions, attempt them, review explanations, and track your progress.

Please don't:

These aren't decorative. The question bank is the entire product; copying it is the one thing that would end this service for everyone using it.

3. Our content

The questions, explanations, structure and design of Medulla are our intellectual property or are used by us with permission. Your subscription buys you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use them for your own study while your subscription is active. It doesn't transfer ownership of anything to you.

Where a question is based on a publicly recalled past exam question, the underlying facts are of course not ours — but our selection, arrangement, wording and explanation are.

4. Subscriptions and payment

5. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — in particular for sharing an account, or for copying or redistributing our content. Where it's reasonable to do so we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. For serious or repeated abuse we may act immediately and without a refund.

If we close your account because you broke these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any part of your subscription. That is the consequence of the breach, not a penalty we profit from — and it only applies to genuine breaches, not to disagreements.

You can stop using the service at any time. See Refunds & Cancellation for what that means for your subscription.

6. Availability — the service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Medulla available, accurate and useful. But we have to be straight with you about what we are not promising:

Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other Indian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

7. Our liability

Our total liability to you, for any claim connected with Medulla, is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you paid us nothing, our liability is limited to nothing.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including exam results, lost opportunity, lost income, or the consequences of any clinical decision. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Your indemnity to us

If you break these terms or misuse the service — for example by scraping or redistributing our content, sharing your account, or uploading someone else's data — and that causes us loss, a third-party claim, or legal costs, you agree to cover us for it.

To be clear about the limits of that: this covers loss caused by your breach or misuse. It doesn't make you responsible for our mistakes, our security failures, or anything we get wrong.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — for example if the law changes or we add a feature. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect, and we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Continuing to use Medulla after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the service — though as our Refunds & Cancellation Policy explains, that doesn't by itself create a refund.

10. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ajmer, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. General

12. Your rights are not waived

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or any other Indian law that can't be excluded by agreement. Where anything here conflicts with those laws, the law wins.

You keep your right to complain to a consumer forum, and — for data matters — to the Data Protection Board of India. We're not asking you to give that up, and we couldn't if we tried.
